Mickey Mouse frantically wrote as fast as he could on the piece of paper in front of him. He knew it’d come to this eventually, and now… this was his last back-up plan. It was late at night, and only a few candles on his nightstand lit his darkened bedroom in his also dark house. He wiped the sweat off his brow for a moment, also relaxing his hand, then immediately started writing again. It was an urgent letter of emergency.

..The necklace will be able to show you exactly who unlocked it from its container. Don’t worry about thinking the child won’t ever pass over it or even come near it; he or she will find themself attracted to its location and go over to it. Now the necklace has the ability to also find who it rightfully belongs to, and since the child won’t know that it’s for them nor notice it being unlocked, when the day is over and it shows you who it is, it’ll automatically send itself off to the child’s house, and make itself noticeable to him or her..

Mickey glanced up as a bright but small sphere of light shown over the letter, illuminating a good portion of it. He smiled at Tinkerbell, who twinkled above him, and then continued writing again:

..This is my very last resort. This is the only failsafe I have to save us all. They’ve taken just about everything, including my sorcerer hat, and they’re coming for me now. I’m the last thing they want before they begin their destruction. I still can’t believe it’s come to this, I never would’ve expected they’d get THIS strong. I’ve always finished them before, but now... they’ve finished ME..

He was interrupted in his writing once more, but by the sound of an angry and sinister clamoring outside his window, followed by the crowd of people who were making the noises. He quickly scribbled in the last sentences of his letter:

..I can’t even begin to tell you how sorry I am for letting this happen. I've put each and every one of you in danger from our land here to across at the Adventure. There's no one to blame but me.. and I hope that you can all please forgive me for my failure in protecting you. But I’m absolutely confident that this last plan is going to work. All of my faith rests in this, and that all of you can guide our savior to their destiny. Find him. Find her. Find the child who still believes!

Love,
Mickey Mouse

With that, he rolled up the letter and handed it to Tinkerbell. She took it and expressed her fear for him.

“I’ll be fine, Tink. Don’t worry. And make sure you let the others know that too. Especially Minnie.” Mickey said calmly but with strong hints of sadness and fear, “I need you to take this to Minnie right away and have her gather everyone up and read it to them. Okay?”

The tiny fairy nodded. She clutched it tightly to her. They both flinched at the sound of the front door being broken down and Mickey quickly opened up his window wide enough for her to get out of, but not him. Tinkerbell asked why it wasn't bigger for him.

“Because they want me. None of you will be safe unless I let them find me and take me. And we wont be able to protect our land if you don't give this to the others and inform them! Now go, Tinkerbell! Go!” Mickey said commandingly.

She argued that she wasn’t going to leave without him, but he cut her off.

“GO!” Mickey shouted.

She gasped and flinched at his sudden anger, but finally realized he meant it. He wasn't going with her, he was staying behind. She could only comply with his commands and let one of her closest friends get kidnapped by her most hated enemies. Trying not to cry, Tinkerbell nodded sharply and whizzed out the tiny opening of the window. Mickey watched as her bright fairy light and sparkling pixie dust slowly faded out, and then disappeared into the black of the night. He turned his head to the sound of running footsteps approach, and then saw his room door fly open. He stared in horror at the group of tall, menacing figures that stood in the doorway in front of him.

“There you are you filthy little rodent. We’ve been looking all over you.” Jafar said with a grin, “Get him!”

Then the great Mickey Mouse was gone.
Hi guys! I haven't posted anything in a while..

Hm. Well here's something! This here is the prologue to a Disney fanfiction I've been thinking about writing for at least a few years now. So I thought I'd finally bring it forward!

I'll tell you more later, but right now, tell me how this prologue sounds :)

All characters here belong to Disney.
